Hannah 8 Month Update

Oh my how she's grown.  Hannah is such a Mama's girl and is becoming more cuddly every day.  I love it!

She makes a funny growling noise and babbles more than coos.  And she smiles al the time.

She's in size 3 diapers and 6-9 month clothes.

She sleeps so peacefully.  Sleeps all night long and takes 2 pretty long naps a day (about 2 hours each).

I finally got a picture of those 2 tiny little teeth.

She loves her baby food.  She's a great eater.  She has milk 3-4 times a day and baby purees 2-3 times a day.  I've been making most of her baby food.

She's goes from laying down to sitting up all by herself and loves playing with her toys.

At 8 1/2 months she'salmost crawling and easily inches around to get what she wants.

She loves bathtime and has enough hair for some small bows.  She's got really sensitive skin and has some eczema on her legs.  We keep lots of lotion on her.  :)

She loves her sister and plays with her all the time.  She always watches what Katie's doing when they're in a room together.

And as always, I can't leave out a little something about Katie.  She loves her Daisy.

Cute Katie story... I found this from a post of mine on facebook in November so I guess it was Halloween candy that Katie was eating but as she ate her Tootsie Roll Pop, she stopped and said, "It's yucky!  It's yucky!"  "What's yucky?" I asked.  Katie, "The poo poo on my lollipop!"  No Katie, that's a tootie roll candy in the middle.  LOL

I love these girls more than I could ever say.

Dance Christmas Party

I didn't get a good clear picture but they got to dance with jingle bells on their ankles.  How fun!

Katie's Christmas Program

Katie's 3 year old class had a little Christmas program at school this year.  So cute!   She was singing Rudolph and Over the River for weeks!

The video is terrible.  Pretty shaky.  I'm sure I was crying a little bit because I'm an emotional sap like that.  LOL

Santa Pictures 2011

This year we saw Santa a couple of times.  A local church had "breakfast with Santa" full of crafts too.  Katie had so much fun.  She loves arts and crafts stuff.

And of coarse we took our annual trip to Bass Pro Shops to get the girls' picture taken with Santa.

Not for Big Girls

I went to pick Katie up from Sunday school one week and this is what I found.  LOL
She was playing in the kitchen play stuff and decided to sit in the BABY DOLL high chair!  She got stuck.  They had tried and tried to get her out and were in the process of calling for maintenance to come and take the high chair apart.  They were going to carry her down to the workshop in the high chair then try to unscrew or pop off the top to get her out.

Daddy came to her rescue and strategically pulled her out.

Of coarse in the midst of my laughter I remembered to take a couple of pictures on my phone.  Ha

Christmas Time is Here!

Well, not really but that's where I am in my blogging.  Trying to get a little more caught up over spring break so here goes my December pictures!

I love decorating the tree and remembering where all those special ornaments came from.  This is one of my favorites.

Katie was a great helper tihs year.

Years ago, I was an elf in the Christmas Festival at Prestonwood.  I absolutely LOVED it!  So much fun getting all dressed up and being up on stage being goofy.  The Dallas Christmas Festival was an amazing show that started with some fun Christmas carols and dancing, followed by a choir concert, then a dramatazation of the life of Christ performed by the Prestonwood choir.  I met some wonderful people and joined the choir as a result of the show my 1st year.  In fact, being in the choir ther is the 1 thing I really miss about that church.  I love watching stuff like this but it was awesome to get to be a part of the dramatization of Jesus' life.  After 3 years of being in the show, they stopped the production of it then life happened... marriage, new church, pregnancy and babies.  This year they finally did it again (on a much smaller scale) and Andy and I brought Katie to see it.  She loved it!  Flying Santa, flying angels, and a real baby for Jesus!  I'm so glad they're doing something like this again.  Maybe someday they'll do the whole production again and we can bring our girls with us to watch.

Little gingerbread girls... another set of matching dresses I made at Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving Part 2

Sweet girls

Fun Christmas bell magnets

I did a lot of sewing during Thanksgiving.  Here's 1 of many matching outfits I made for them.

I love this picture.

Pop and Mimi with their grandbabies.  (BTW, that's not real snow.  That was the cute backdrop at the mall where Santa was.)

Granny came over for a while on Thanksgiving.

Hannah wanted to help make some tutus for her and Katie.

I love how Katie is looking at Hannah in this picture.  She loves her sister so much!

Katie found some fun dress up clothes to play with.

Our traditional hibachi lunch before leaving town.

Daisy was ready to go.

We had a great time with family for Thanksgiving this year.
