Hannah 9 Month Update

Hannah's 9 Month Stats...
Height- 26.5" (25th percentile)
Weight- 16 lbs 3 oz (dropped to the 10th percentile in weight)
Head- 16.5" (10th percentile)
Size 3 diapers
6-9 month clothes

She loves Katie and wants to play with her more and more.

She's a great eater!  She's eating table food now (fruit cups, veggies, some blendered meat at home and at school she's had pancakes, toast, Cheerios, goldfish, fruit, and veggies).  She feeds herself which makes life so much easier!

She has milk 3-4 times a day and food 3 (sometimes 4) times a day.  Since she dropped in percentile for weight, her doctor told us we need to feed her more table foods.  She's already such a good eater but I guess needs a little more table foods.

She loves her bath.

We keep lots of lotion on her because she's got eczema on her legs. If I skip even 1 day of her eczema lotion after her bath, the dry patches on her legs and tummy come back.  She also got her 1st bad diaper rash this month.  Lots of bag balm and corn starch and it finally went away after several weeks!

(I love this picture and those cute little baby teeth!)

She pulls up to standing all by herself.  This was the 1st day she pulled up on her own.  Andy went to get her up one morning and this is how he found her in her crib.  She can also hold on with just 1 hand and reach for something with the other.

She's crawling really fast now.  I had this tree in the hall ready to go in the attic and Hannah was in my room.  In no time at all, she had crawled out to the hall to play with the tree.

She's a very happy baby.  She smiles all the time and only cries when she's hungry or sleepy.

She still doesn't like to wear shoes or socks, but when we can get some on her she wears mostly size 1 shoes and some size 2.  If we try to put socks on her though, she takes them off and chews of them.  She loves chewing on her socks... even when she's sleepy.  :)

She's a great sleeper.  At school she takes short naps, but at home in her crib she sleeps for 2-3 (sometimes 4) hours for her nap.  She stays up until about 6:30 on weekdays and sleeps until 7:30 or later on weekends.  On weekdays, I wake her up around 6:30 to feed her but she goes back to sleep for a little bit until Andy gets her up for school.

When she wakes up she fusses for a few seconds then plays in her crib until we go get her up.

She loves to sleep on her tummy.  I love these little feet crossed over each other.  She sleeps like this a lot.

She loves to play with any toys that have balls.  The ball popper is her favorite!

She understands the word "no" (no cords, etc).  She loves to grab at the computer plug so we have to tell her no a lot when she gets to those.

She says "dada" all the time, especially when Andy walks into the room.  She tries to say "byebye" and wave sometimes.

This month I started putting bows in her hair.  It's still so thin they don't always stay in her hair, but she at least has enough hair for bows now.

She follows me around all the time and recognizes me, Andy, and Katie when we ask her where one of us is.

She loves for me to read to her and loves to play peek a boo by covering her own face and listening to me say "Where's Hannah?"  "There she is!"  It's so cute and makes her giggle.

What a blessing this sweet little girl has been to our family!
