Bye Bye Pagosa

We had a good long trip but there is still plenty I would've liked to do in Silverthorne AND Pagosa.  We'll be back soon enough.

5 years ago, Andy and I went to Pagosa Springs (for the 1st time for me) and that's where he proposed to me.  We went on a horseback ride from Bruce Spruce Ranch and he proposed at the top of the mountain.  Before we left last week, we took Katie down to see the horses. 

She threw some more rocks into the stream at the ranch.

Durango

We drove over to Durango one day for some shopping.

I think the kids wanted to go on a 4 wheel drive guided ride.

We decided to wait and go on the train ride when Katie's old enough to remember it, but we went to the train station just in time to watch it come in.

The guys got up early one morning and hiked to Hunters Lake to go fishing.  We girls and the kids met them up there for lunch.  Katie got the primo seat... a wagon ride for the hike to the lake.
