This weekend we went to a Halloween costume party with our Sunday School class. The kids were so cute dressed up in their costumes. Here's Katie in her little butterfly costume. She'll have to wear it again on Halloween night and help us hand ut candy to all the trick or treaters!

Katie's First Pumpkin Patch

Well I was hoping she would be awake when we went, but we took Katie to her 1st pumpkin patch today. Despite her sleeping the whole time, we had fun. I ran into a good friend of mine too that I used to work with. I haven't seen her in at least 2 years so it was really nice to see her.

1 Month Old!

We took this picture last night, a week and a half after the other black and white pictures and she already looks like she's grown from the pictures a week and a half ago. (Or maybe it's just me, but I think she looks like she's grown.)

Today she had her 1 month appointment and it went really well. She's now 9 lbs and 21 1/4 inches. The dr said she's gaining great and that this next month we'll start to see her follow us with her eyes and smile more.

She's been a lot more alert for about the last week. It's so much fun to watch her when she's awake. She makes the cutest faces and her eyes are open so big while she looks everywhere taking it all in. She's also starting to grow out of some of her newborn clothes. Not all of them, but some. This week is the 1st week she's been wearing some 0-3 months clothes. :)

Baby Einstein

Last week we watched Baby Einstein for the 1st time. I liked it, but it was definately not what I expected. It was a lot of counting and saying colors, alphabet, and nursery rhymes but in lots of different languages. I guess that's good for their development because she's just hearing all the sounds made.

Of coarse, Daisy was doing her "duty" and watching Katie the whole time we were watching Baby Einstein. She kind of stalks Katie. I think it's partly out of curiosity, but I think she's also trying to protect her. She used to do this to Chelsea (another one of our dogs) all day long (and night too.) Now she's shifted her attention to Katie. It's funny to watch!

She was very content in her bouncer watching for about the 1st 15-20 minutes, then she fell asleep. She's been much more alert in the last week. It's fun to see her awake and wide-eyed taking in all she can see. And I can start to try out her bouncer, swing, and tummy time mat more now that she's awake a little more.

What a Big Girl!

Katie already outgrew her tub she got from the hospital. So this weekend she had her 1st bath in her big girl tub that my sister, Allison bought her. Thanks Allison, she likes her tub.

Nice Relaxing Saturday

Andy bought me a massage a few months ago and I finally went this morning to get it. It was so relaxing and of coarse, I was able to fall asleep for a little bit.

I got home just in time for the Texas/OU game. As much as I don't like the tu burnt orange, I must say she looks cute in her longhorn onesie with Daddy watching the game. Well, I guess Katie's not really watching. She just ate so she's nice and happy sleeping.
